Darwin

Darwin lives with his parents and two younger sisters a small, rural community. Neither of his parents completed elementary school and his father works in construction to support the family. They live in a small structure that they built on land they purchased with a loan from his aunt. They do not have a bathroom or sink of their own and go to their aunt’s house to use the bathroom or prepare food. Darwin’s parents want him and his sisters to graduate from school, but they can barely afford necessities and worry that they will not be able to pay for their children’s education.
